Albatross Hung There

03.19.18 Posted in today's words by

Charlene James-Duguid’s most recent poem to appear here was “Confession” (February 2018).

Albatross hung there
Bed post yawns from weight too bold
No flight or exit

All evil caught up
Trussed like Japanese horror
Relentless wounding

Sin curls through strata
Asking nothing but a space
To stop and decay
