Amnesia
By Murray Dunlap

Strange place this is
Between living and dying
Feelings of years past, like yesterday
But feelings of closer times
Vanished with no trace

Where do I find peace in this unknown world
Where do I crawl and say, this is home
I am reinvented
I am a vision of what could have been, what might have been, what what what….
But how do I function
How do I absolve the pain
And where do we go from here?
