An After Death Conversation
By Frank Adams

Where does this emptiness come from?
It comes from my death.

Will this emptiness stay with me always?
Yes, but it will lessen over time.

Why do I feel this way?
Because you loved me more than you knew.

Did you love me?
You’ll have to answer that for yourself.

I am sorry for the bad times.
I know, so am I.

Will we ever be together again?
In some way I am always with you.

Are you okay?
I am where I am meant to be.

What should I do?
I don’t know.  You dwell among the living
and I dwell among the dead.  You’ll figure it out.
