Boats Are in My Blood
By Murray Dunlap

Boats are in my blood
An ebbing tide drifts out
Pulling me with it
Shipbuilding gave our start
Motors propelled the family
Then the war led us astray
But a Sunfish brought us home
Easing in soundless
Boats are in my blood
