Child Thought

The difference between
believing you are a polka dot person
and not a freckle face

a code reader
instead of a dyslexic, Tinkerbelle’s sister
not short stuff

an unrecognized princess
instead of a homeless daughter, an aloof cat
not a friendless child

is whether we fall on this side or that
of the border of the age of wonder.
