Cluster
After Rapids by Hiroshi Yoshida
by Alexa Findlay
there lies a river
its temperature luke-warm,
but slightly chilly
that streams between
monstrous snow-capped mountains
fog spreading
like wild fire
hiding the beauty from
the world who desires to see it
as its cluster of water
takes a voyage
until it reaches a fall
splashing & thrashing
forming white
clouds of foam
pushing against
jagged rocks below
its limpid sound
echoing throughout
the dense forest
that surrounds it
a site so rare
yet
magical
to the human eye—
