Man Made

I am always on exhibit
you can walk around me
you can touch me
you can read up about me
you can take note of the year
I was created
clearly I am an
artifact
of my time
and I have my place
and the fact
is I just stand here
standing for something
while
you are the critic
and the connoisseur
you either admire
the craftsmanship
that went into
making me who I am
or maybe you
prefer
that Greek adonis
over there
but let me warn you
that one
has a chip on his shoulder
and is as cold
as stone
