Frieda Landau’s most recent poem to appear here was A Sonnet on Turning 50 (May 2015).
All Hands on Deck
By Frieda Landau
The first exploring touch:
The curve of a hip,
The slope of a breast,
The roundness of a belly.
Tentatively, like a trespassing child,
The wetness below,
Following the convoluted folds,
More certain now, to the slick nub
Swelling with anticipation of the touch.
Whoa!!! Now that’s poetry in motion. . .
Phew, Frieda–I’m just a-sweatin’. Well done!
Eloquently put. Brilliantly done.
