Paul Goldberg’s most recent poem to appear here was “Why Super Heroes Have Capes” (December 2016).
I try to take a picture of the wind
As it whirls and trumpets in my ears
I try to taste the clap of waves as they slap the stoney banks along the bay
I try to hold the light of dusk as the mustered sun sets behind the water lapped wooden piers
I try to sit and capture all this and then remember the wonderful creamery not too far away.
A terrific title!
