If You Believe in Me, I’ll Believe in You
By Elizabeth Still

And so, I took a leap of faith
And I chose to believe
In the white mane and silver horn,
Of the creature of Fae in front of me.

I believed in its power,
Its heart and its soul
That it came to protect us
All noble and bold.

And I never saw it again
After that day with the chestnut tree
Though I knew it was watching
And looking over me.
