Lost and Found
By Anita Haas

I grieve the stillness
…………of the mute prima donna,
…………and the blank canvas
…………of the blind painter.
I ache to keep time
…………with the lame dancer’s feet,
…………and to baffle at the brilliance
…………of the techno genius
…………born into the Stone Age.
All lost in the Hollow of Never Been.
Where too,
My love would echo
Had I not found you.

Wow. This gave me chills – came across it in my inbox at work –
what a relief to find this gem of good poetry in the world! Love the dramatic contrasts, and the emotions – I grieve the stillness…wow.
