Measured, weighed and found wanting

Scales tip and I rise,
but sometimes sinking is best
and my price does not reflect
true value, but a discount
cannot be discounted,
and I am less than the whole
of my being, and being
all that I am measures
to a glass half full,
but not from my view, from my
perspective and yet still
found wanting.
