Mocking the Sunrise
By Laura Zucca-Scott
We mock the sunrise
In eternal struggles
So confused
Our names
Don’t matter
We kiss the sunset
To hide our fears
We live
We die
Each day
This makes us see reality.
Love Mocking the Sunrise. Much wisdom in few words.
Classic metaphor of birth and death captured so elegantly in this poem.
Amen and very true.
