Orange Sky (This One Empty Chair)

There’s something unique about reminiscing beneath an orange sky,
long vacant stares ascending toward a wilderness of unimaginable grief and pain,
visions of blood and tears seeping through the serrated edges of broken amber clouds,
ripped open by the sword and words of lost love,
now raining their sad denouncements of how life really advances without light,
whilst remaining loyal in the art of conversing cerebral cushions to occupy this one empty chair . . .
