Praise
By Jeanette Gallagher
She asked her mother
why she never
praised
Her mother answered
because she didn’t
want her to get a big head.
After therapy she
relinquished the pain
and wondered why
in her dreams she still
searched for herself.
Thank God, she had therapy. This happens so many times. We are noticed for our mistakes and not our good. Great poem for us to ponder.
Well said, Jeanette. I think a lot of us can relate.
Thank you, Jeanette, for your kind and empathetic words.
Thank you Bobby. I appreciate your kind comment.
