Rising Dough
By Troy DeFrates

The patience of rising dough
Do not touch me again lest I fall
The pureness of simplicity
Combined becomes more

The result is tantalizing
Only with restraint

Rising with sun
Setting itself ready with the fading day
Pre-heating the destination
Deliverance to succulence

The result is tantalizing
Only with restraint

The aroma distilled timelessly
Drawing you in as the pied piper
Basking in the swirl of hand made love
The efficacy of home

The result is tantalizing
Only with restraint
