Stealing Identity
By Murray Dunlap
My life went awry
In that very instant
Timed to the split second
Without my heart
Indefinite conclusion and
Lost identity
A vagrant continued life
Iron weights in my pockets
Cement in my shoes
I journey on
I find respite
In the life of another
Stolen from photographs

One Response to “Stealing Identity”

  1. A vagrant continued life
    Iron weights in my pockets

    I journey on
