The definition of summer
Lies within your own
Range of perception
As does the definition of life
Sun on skin may
Count as a holiday
But life is too holy
To be counted in days
How could anyone
Tell you when it is
Time to sleep
Or to wake

Step out of time
And everything is yours
Your hands were made
To do more than shake
