Trapped in Glass
By Murray Dunlap

The ease of lofty plans
The melody of a lullaby
Cutting a sail to sleep
Obvious incompletion of sanity
Quiet tremors in a world gone mad

Thoughts cut like wire
In the palm of your hand
The daylight brings divinity
And the moon cloaks a fool

A scene of chaos
Floating waves of doubt
Emulate a faster pattern
The idea of genius
Trapped in glass
And quiet tremors in a world gone mad
