Trinity
By Richard Schnap

He told me in a bar one night
There are three types of people

Those as mindless as sheep
Following whoever leads them

Those as predatory as wolves
Telling the sheep where to go

And those who are neither one
Wandering aimlessly as they will

But I replied he was partly right
For some seemed to be all three

As a blind man sang in a corner
An old ballad with words he made up
