The Last Waltz

Will we all be waiting around?
A parody of the Titanic
Waltzing to a familiar tune
Or will we all scream in terror
Running against the rising waters?

When the sun sets
The children seek comfort
In a cat’s soft purring

And when the night comes
Hold the children and the cat
In the gentle embrace of knowledge

There is still hope
Even when you fall
