Wish
By John J McKenna

Wish

misplaced?

left by you
atop the bright yellow
crumb scattered,
lemonade spill sticky still
corners taped
plastic-paper birthday table cloth

Wish,
no longer whispered
in sprite sparkle light
radiant giggle girl glee

no longer italicized
by your beautiful then bright blinking gem eyes
wide pop shining shine glow gold
goodness Goddess green

Wish,
no longer All CAPS enthusiastically
lovely lady-to-be laugh
beautiful blurt burst from your smile mouth
when pause gasp holler breath quick
scream squint squeal wonder
wish Wish WISH Wish wish

while always still steady certain and unwavering
out there waiting,
the big blue language of life

the wish you once made …

the wish you made …

When,
with eye and ear and you
bright to window
to greet the fantastic pitch perfect chirp possibility of sound and song
strange mystery magic
outside

with window, up
telephone poles rising
electrical lines, crossing like pen ink between you
and
sky blue sky
blue sky blue

above the halt holler traffic lunging life below on the boulevard
beneath the apartment window

yet,
you You YOU You you
know still

the open language
of dream
and

The Holy Whisper Wish

My wife and i have been absolutely relieved Raymond managed to deal with his basic research by way of the ideas he got from your web page. It’s not at all simplistic to just choose to be giving for free helpful tips which most people might have been trying to sell. Therefore we remember we have the writer to give thanks to for this. The specific illustrations you have made, the simple blog menu, the friendships your site aid to create – it is everything great, and it’s aiding our son in addition to the family imagine that the subject matter is fun, and that is wonderfully fundamental. Thanks for all the pieces!
