It's just poetry, it won't bite

You

10.21.10 Posted in today's words by

Michael Turner’s poem La Danse Immobile was about love and his poem today is about love too. But they do not describe the same thing.

You
By Michael Turner

You the wanton beguiling with flirtatious eyes.
You the termagant commanding with strident impositions.
You the muse leading me to the feast of words.
You the maenad lashing me to submission.
You the mistress kneading me to accomplishment.
You the shrew taming me.
You the Lady leading me with silken hackamore.
