Sleep, time and time again
How I longed for that moment
Always out of reach
Like a dream I failed to remember
Absence, I don’t need it anymore
I became a slave to it, but not anymore
How I needed that passing time
But time doesn’t need to dream
I’m stronger awake
How I longed for that moment
Always out of reach
Like a dream I failed to remember
Absence, I don’t need it anymore
I became a slave to it, but not anymore
How I needed that passing time
But time doesn’t need to dream
I’m stronger awake
Joshua, you are indeed “stonger awake.” I look forward to hearing more of your powerful voice in the future.
Sharon
