Waiting for the bus
By Christopher Roe
Buses shamble like large beetles
haltingly through the streets
and scud into the dark tunnels
under the hills to the sunshine
on the other side of the hill
they scatter with a hiss and growl
and we, the lowly commuters,
their droppings along the way.
haltingly through the streets
and scud into the dark tunnels
under the hills to the sunshine
on the other side of the hill
they scatter with a hiss and growl
and we, the lowly commuters,
their droppings along the way.
I like this!
Very clever.
Christopher has a great voice and so succinctly captured our everyday life and “our place” in this great cosmos! MI look forward to more from Christopher!!!!
