A Fragment of Fear
By Jubilee Garcia
A beautiful beach
A beach full of sand,
A frigid wind,
A wolves’ clan.
It’s as cold
As an arctic ocean
They started to run
I ran, I ran, I ran …
Winter cooled my face
With a snowflake fan
The ocean got bigger
It covered the sand.
I saw a hill
I swam, I swam, I swam
As hard as a little girl can
The stretching water expands,
Expands …
I wake up, I realize
I’m dreaming, and
I think of a plan …
I will never dream again
Jubilee, she must dream again. From there she will be able to write beautiful poetry such as this. You will warm the hearts of many. Good luck!
Jubilee, a Fragment of Fear is a wonderful poem and I love the way it looks on the page. Keep writing–you have talent!
