Déjà vu
By Brian Eichenlaub
As I headed out the door
I felt I’ve been here once before
But in my rush to get away
The Fates said “No!”, I had to stay
I looked and looked but could not see
Where, oh where could they be
In the bathroom
In the kitchen
On the night stand
They’ve gone missin’
As I stood there in my dread
I placed my hands upon my head
And to my very own suprise
There, I found, my pair of eyes
