Fortress
By Igor Krajcev

Shady shadows
ghastly groans
They wait for me to wither
they wait in flame,
imprisoned in poison
a touch will not kill me,
life is what hurts.

I see a bird flying off
too far away to touch
with no fear nor worry
but shadowed still.

I touch
I reach
I fly

But still
I stay
wrapped.
