how to find the calendar made for the muse
By PMPope

You have to rummage through all this paper
searching for one piece
you scribbled out of a lyrical day
dedicatedly sad & lonely
for someone so far away
from your gravitational core …

it’s of minor coincidence actually
she knows you made it
you know you made it
that is as it should be
a thought transmitted bouncing
along the hemisphere

Muses, seemingly fickle,
condense all motivation of mankind
as inspiration
only realized completely
through individual design

flitting & flirting
with everything labeled “taboo”
whether muslin sex symbols
or aquatic mammals
or any other creatures

these data storage systems
seem sparse in embracing
even Jo-Jo Chang and his
electric lupus discount store
garner higher praise than you
from the lips you’re refused

he doesn’t sell any calendar close to this one.
He thinks it insane to carry different colors of underwear for men.
All his calendars are from Chinese mortuaries.
His other job is a laundromat.
Face it, if you lost this calendar, you lost it.
You can’t run into a retail outlet and find one
like this. If you do you should
tell me where I can find out
who I have to sue.
