Lawyers are a funny breed
Full of vanity abounding in greed
They write the laws of the land
With language a common man can’t understand
Multiplying words not very exciting
They insist on putting everything in writing
A man’s fate is changed for bad or better
On the technicality of a single letter
They don’t talk about God at all
Until they give you the bill
Then they ask you to recall
Thou shalt not kill
