Mystery
By Molly Frederick

Moon soft,

        moon warm,

                       moon seen,

     moon gone.

Moon cold.

        Moon hard.

                         Moon new.

    Moon old.

Light—in phase and pull—

   swells, enlarging the night.

                    So too,

           the human heart.

Being a luna lover, this poem was a revelation. The final stanza is extraordinary. Thank you, Molly.
