Sometimes the rain
By Rob Krabbe
Sometimes the gentle rain wraps
around me, cooling my skin.
It takes me to itself like an old
familiar lover that knows me
better than she knows herself.
A deeper love than only passion,
she knows where to touch me.
My seductress and generous
companion in this vast empty
desert. A cool breath caresses
my body and a soft hand eases me into
a deeper pleasure, lightly drawn
across my naked soul.
Lovely, just lovely.
