You’re young, you’re fit, you’re healthy.

He’s helped so many couples.

It’s all good news
Who doesn’t love spring babies?

She’s here, at last,
So full of fire
But next time, plan a section.

(soothing)
Rooftop, raindrops
Shifting glider
Startled, how much she needs me.

(threatening)
Purple backpack
Hand tugged from mine
Away to find a cubby.

(drowning)
Anger, wounded
Life, her oyster
No longer filled with pearls.

Turning footprint
Words unspoken
Her hands seek mine, same-sized
