Times Like These

Times like these don’t really need all the
waving arms, clenched fists, loud shouts
and ugly insults of dissent.

We’ve had enough of that already.

Times like these do just fine with little,
quiet, modest gestures like the slow
and silent shake of the head, the
murmured, but firm “No.”
