Athens: Dazzle me
By Murray Dunlap

Dazzle me, I say
For once, I hope to be happy
I stand at last, no longer
In my wheelchair
And for that, I am happy
Yet I want more
And more
And feel betrayed by a car wreck
Dazzle me, I say
For once, I hope to be happy
I drive again
I have moved myself to a new city
Athens is the name of a first city
And fits my need
To be dazzled
Athens wil prove to dazzle
And make me happy
A new start
A new city
Dazzle me, I say
Walking, driving, moving,
Living among trees and smiles
I am dazzled.
