BrainStorm
By Dale Leffler

Tell me again that the sun will come out.
Tell me once more how it will all work out.
That I am more than my tears and sobbing bouts,
in these moment of fear and wailings of self-doubt.

Tell me of how I can project my power,
stand tall to the biting rain instead of cower.
Show me how not to succumb to this storm that towers,
over my manifesting realities in this darkened hour.

Speak to me of the truth uncovered by Us.
Point the way to sanctuary on foot or by bus.
Walk with me for awhile and give me your trust,
so I might recover my passionate longings and my life’s lust.

To be the facilitator of wisdom and light,
to be the warrior, engaged in fight,
for the soul of a person whose life just might,
be otherwise lost, in the cloudy sleepiness of this night’s
Brain storm.
