Contributor Series 9: If Men Had Ears
Haiku Music
By Joan McNerney

An outdoor concert,
Which is sweeter, the flute
or bird song in woods?

What does this cat think
strumming his tail with such ease
to fugues of Bach?

Joan McNerney’s most recent appearance here was with Five Harvest Haiku, published in March 2011 as part of Contributor Series 8: Feast and Famine.
