Cosmic Destination
By Glenn Johnson

Birds travel thousands of miles
by mysterious inner compass
to destinations known and unknown.
Universe by universe
light year by light year
day by day
moment to moment
we journey
an adventure of the heart
a quest for love’s embrace.

She walked into a crowded room
stardust still in her eyes.
Suddenly
no one else existed.
I never saw her coming.
I never want to see her going.

She stole my heart
tiptoed up on me
tapped on my soul
and said
I can talk with angels

I believe she can.
Lord, I believe anything she says.
