Blueberries
By John Kaniecki

Profoundly round
A rolling world
Sweet
Rapturous
Blue as our Earth
Minute
Never trite
So good to gobble
Mass producing grins
Smiling stained teeth
A blue picket fence
Pleasure beyond words
Can’t get enough
Strawberries red with envy
If this is heaven
Send me now

The line “Strawberries red with envy” is beautiful, as is the entire poem.
