It's just poetry, it won't bite

My Days
By Andrew Badger

I plant my feet so carefully
safely
wait for verification
from earth
that I
can shift my weight

I inch along familiar paths
once trod
with lively steps but now
with care
I watch the earth below
less alien

now more kin a parent
a goal
but impatient time adjusts
my paths
keeps my coursing life
in line
with cosmic cogs

Love this, Doc, esp the line about waiting for verification. Rich stuff!
