Debt
By Murray Dunlap

I created a hell on earth
I fought to maintain
I clawed my way out
With help
Having prayed for acceptance
Brain injury and all
I somehow managed not to die
She threatened me with my life
I was cut, bleeding, disembodied
But I survived
Thank you Lord
I am in Your debt
