Discovery in Two Takes

By The Women Who Know

The greatest thing in life is love.
Tell me: Are you growing? Progressing?
Loving? Learning? Leaping?
Have you been the best you?
For tomorrow is uncertain but inevitable.
And suddenly, gradually, over and over,
you will be amazed at what your body
overheard, what your body can do.
For this too shall pass.
So be yourself.
We can’t change the mistakes
of the past, but we can make time
today to reflect on them,
to learn from them.
Yesterday ends the old; that is done.
Life is too short to dwell on the past.
Continue to seek help no matter
how many times you hear the words
no, can’t. Believe me, you’ll find
the answer and begin on a new you.
Don’t judge because you never know
what someone else is going through.
Some things, after all, are blessings
in disguise.

Yes, some things are blessings
in disguise. Don’t judge because
you never know what someone else
is going through. Continue to seek help
no matter how many times you hear
the words no, can’t. Believe me,
you’ll find the answer and begin
on a new you. Life is too short
to dwell on the past. Yesterday
ends the old; that is done.
We can’t change the mistakes
of the past, but we can make time
today to reflect on them, to learn from them.
So be yourself, for this too shall pass.
Suddenly, gradually, over and over,
you will be amazed at what your body
overheard, what your body can do,
for tomorrow is uncertain but inevitable.
Are you growing? Progressing? Loving?
Learning? Leaping? Have you been
the best you? The greatest thing
in life is love.
