No Guns on Streets, Part II
By Katya Bitar
There are no
guns on streets,
they are in police officers’ pockets,
we are told
to trust them
There are no
guns on streets,
they are in Wal-Mart,
being sold
to the eager hand
There are no
guns on streets,
we live in some sort of peace,
we get the privilege
to not see our government slaughter
There are no
guns on streets,
they are in
another country
we are trying
to fix,
that
is what they tell us
The reality of this left me worried. Good Job.
