Hercules
By Milt Montague

Hercules the ancient Greek Superman
was also a great lover
memorialized to this day
in the night sky

garbed in the lion skin
of the Nemean Lion
that once terrorized the countryside

he subdued the beast
with his great club

and patrols the night sky
seeking out criminals
or adventure
or amour
