When you need a friend
You can certainly ask
A perfect friend
Brave and generous
Kind and reliable
Your perfect friend
You can certainly ask
A perfect friend
Brave and generous
Kind and reliable
Your perfect friend
But if you turn around
And look at the mirror
Can you really ask
What you cannot be
And if the day feels long and empty
Fill it with love
Add some compassion
Then you will find a friend
Your friend.
