infinite leaves
substance of a feather?
raindrop, oceans
great mountain chains
your face and mine
and then the stars.
Humans born into it—
amazed at birds.
Masters of use
masters of a particle;
and on a warm July afternoon
from a window
calm geometric houses
before waters
smooth, reflective, moving.
