m.f. nagel was born in anchorage Alaska. Her Athabaskan and Eyak heritage gave her a love of story. m.f. now lives and writes near the banks of the Matanuska river in the Palmer Butte, Alaska, where the moose, wild dog, roses, and salmonberries provide unending joy and inspiration.

Between hope and fear;

Inter vivos

Between the living;

Limbus

Paradise;

Interdum vulgus rectum

Videt

Sometimes the crowd sees

Right;

In terrorem

As a warning;

In tesstimonium

In witness;

In toto caelo

In the whole sky;

Intus et in cute novi

hominem

I know the man within

And in the skin;

In utero

In the womb;

In vacuo

In space;

Intelligenti pauca

To the intelligent few words;

Inter canem et lupum

Between a dog and wolf;

 

Interdicere alicui aqua et

Igni

Forbid water and fire;

Deme supercilio nubem

Remove the cloud from your brow;

Sapiens dominababitur

A wise man will rule the stars;

Spero meliora

I hope for better things;

Spes

Hope;

Sunt lacrimae rerum

There are tears in things;

Scire feci

I have cause to know;

Scriber iussit amor

Love made me write;
