Narrator
By Annmarie Lockhart

You know
that I was never meant for mute.
My voice was meant to fly,
my words were meant to sing,
and I was meant to be
the stream of consciousness
that moves the story
from beginning to end
and bends its babble
through all the twists and turns
along the way.

One Response to “Narrator”

  1. Wow. This is so true. Of course your many voices are so important.
