Nature of Woods
By Samantha Seto

One flower petal drops and lands in the river,
Water in the river moves in constant motion downstream.

The trees sway and move gently with the breeze,
Fragrance of nature carries a new aroma.

My path is filled with sunlight,
Birds release leaves from a rosebush into waters.

The trees make lengthy dark shadows overhead,
Droplets of water push leaves from trees into the river.

I sit in solitude amongst the nature surrounding me,
The rest of the world is not too far away.
