Pool Slide
By Stan Galloway

The slide reflected in the water,
like Monet on Van Gogh,
reminds that
what we see
and what is real
and what we think we see
and what we think is real
all differ in
ripply,
shimmery ways
almost alike
but some
as false as water,
others hard as steel.
